Methods of Payment
Our web hosting services are currently only available by credit card. We do
not currently accept cash of checks in the mail. We accept both Visa and
MasterCard.
Payment Processor
We use WorldPay (www.worldpay.com) as our credit card payment processor,
meaning that it is actually WorldPay that will be charging your credit card...
and not RoundBerry. WorldPay will charge your credit card, store your billing
information for future recurring billings, and then they send us your payment.
Your credit card information is never sent to us.... it remains secure with
WorldPay. The only information that WorldPay sends us is your name, address,
and contact details, along with confirmation that the transaction was
successful. WorldPay specializes in secure online transactions, while
RoundBerry specializes in web hosting. We set ourselves up this way so that
you are assured of the best possible security in making these online
purchases.
PayPal - In certain circumstances where our customers cannot pay with a Visa
or Master Card, we may also accept payments via PayPal. Such cases will be
handled on a case by case basis. If you wish to pay by PayPal, send an email
to sales@roundberry.com.
Placing New Orders
You must use one of our online order forms to
place an order for a web hosting account. We do not take orders over the
telephone.
Fill out the appropriate order form and click "Proceed to Payment
Page". At this point you'll be taken to a secure online "WorldPay"
order form, where you'll confirm the plan you're ordering, and select your
method of payment. On the next page you'll enter your credit card and billing
information, and once complete, click on "Make Payment".
Recurring Billing
All orders are setup as recurring payment orders in WorldPay's FuturePay
system, whether you choose an annual term or a monthly term.
Monthly: If you choose a monthly term to pay for your hosting
plan, you will immediately be charged for your 1st month upon entering your
order. Your 2nd and subsequent payments will then be charged automatically on
that same date every month thereafter. For example, if you place an order on
January 5, 2004 for $9.95/month, you'll be charged $9.95 on January 5, 2004,
$9.95 on February 5, $9.95 on March 5, etc. You'll continue to be charged on
the 5th day of each month (in this example) until you cancel your account.
Annually: If you choose an annual term to pay for your hosting
plan, you will immediately be charged for your 1st year upon entering your
order. Your 2nd and subsequent payments will then be charged automatically on
that same date every year thereafter. For example, if you place an order on
January 5, 2004 for $109.45/year, you'll be charged $109.45 on January 5,
2004, $109.45 on January 5, 2005, $109.45 on January 5, 2006, etc. You'll
continue to be charged on the 5th of January each year (in this example) until
you cancel your account.
Domain Names
Domain name registrations are handled through a different payment
processor.... not WorldPay. When registering a domain name, you can choose to
pay with any of the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Amex or
Discover. You will receive confirmation of your domain's registration via
email shortly after making the purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: All domain registrations are FINAL. There can be NO refunds for
domain registrations, even if you simply made a typo in registering your
domain. There is no way to un-register a domain name, so TAKE CARE when
registering your domain.
Cancellations
You may cancel your hosting plan or reseller plan at any time, by sending an
email to info@roundberry.com. Upon
receipt of your cancellation request, we will immediately terminate your
WorldPay/FuturePay agreement, thus stopping all future billings to your credit
card. We will also terminate your hosting account (or all accounts, if it is a
reseller plan you're canceling), and email a cancellation confirmation back to
you.
Refunds
If you cancel your hosting plan (or reseller plan) within the first 30 days of your
account activation, we will refund your hosting fees (including any setup fees), no questions asked.
This applies to all shared hosting accounts, as well as all reseller
plans. It does NOT apply to domain name registrations.
If you wish to cancel your service after the 30 days has expired, there will
be no refund as we do NOT refund partial monthly or annual fees.
